TECHNICAL ISSUES

1. RULES:

       FIDE Laws of Chess is valid for the tournament maybe gathered from organisation in English and Turkish.

2. APPLICATION:

i.   Open to all Turkish players who have TCF license.

ii.  Open for foreign players they may show a valid passport.

iii.  No entry fee for the players over 2300 ELO. Other players pay 20 € entry fee.

3.     STATUE:

  All results will be sent to FIDE for ELO and title aims.

4. TIE-BREAKS:

i. Respectively Buchholz-2, Buchholz-1 (weakest result reduced),  Sonneborn-Berger, Number of wins. If necessary the tie shall be broken by lot.

ii. Player will take only the highest Money prize if he/she obtains money prizes from different categories.

iii. For cups and medals to top three tie-break will be taken under calculation.

iv. Money prizes for the same final ranks will be shared.

5. APPEALS:

Appeals committee will be declared in Technical Meeting. Protests against decisions of the Chief Arbiter or his assistants must be submitted in written form to the Chairman of the appeals committee within 15 minute after completion of the playing session. The protest must be accompanied with the sum of 50 € as a deposit from the signatory. If the appeal is granted, the sum shall be returned immediately. If the appeal is refused, the deposit is forfeited to TCF.

6.  ACCOMMODATION:

All GM, WGM, IM and WIM will be provided free accommodation. Players who has GM title will be provided special conditions by respecting their ELO. TCF is free to accept or refuse any player. 7. TRANSPORTATION:

Players will be responsible with their own transportation expenses. The transportation from the airport to hotels will be provided free of charge by organisers.

8. SPECIAL SUBJECTS:

 i.   Pairings will be done by Swiss Manager Software,

 ii.  All results will be declared in hotels and playing venue,

 iii.  According to FIDE Laws of Chess, players should not bring their cell phones to Tournament Hall.

 iv. The first ten minutes of each round cameras with flash may be used,

 v.  All participants including accompanying persons are assumed that they accept this regulations.

 vi. This regulations in written in English and Turkish, and for the tournament English Version is accepted as default.
 

9.   PRIZES:

The total 10.200USD will be distributed as prize fund

        





























The players who represent TCF in international events, are considered as 'local player'.

10.  SCHEDULE:
